Peoplesafe merges with sister brands Skyguard and Guardian24

With immediate effect, Skyguard and Guardian24 brands will be known as Peoplesafe, as the companies merge under one unified brand.

Specialist lone worker technology brands Peoplesafe, Skyguard and Guardian24 are all owned by the Send For Help Group. Given the commonality of service and expertise – along with the investment that the group is making in technological innovation for the sector – it makes sense to strengthen the company and the service under one single brand; Peoplesafe.

The Peoplesafe brand identity has also been relaunched today, better reflecting the combined expertise and breadth of service delivered by the wider company.

There will be no commercial impact to customers with all contracts and commercial arrangements remaining the same. All staff will remain in their current roles, delivering the same exceptional service that customers have come to rely on. The rebrand signifies the start of a more formally unified future for Peoplesafe, a pioneer in the lone worker solutions market.

Peoplesafe is firmly focused on its role as a facilitator for a safer society and recognises the part it plays in supporting employee welfare across all sectors. The lone worker protection market is forecast to grow significantly in the coming years, with app-based solutions expected to account for an increasing share. Innovation sits at the heart of Peoplesafe’s strategy; alongside its smartphone apps, satellite devices and wearable tech, the company has invested heavily in the software and service support associated with its offering. Apps and devices provide activity timers, fall detection, roaming sims, welfare checks and tracking services, to name a few, and integrate with cutting edge solutions such as What3Words and Geofencing.

Naz Dossa, CEO, comments:

“This is a truly exciting time for the lone worker technology industry. We have some exciting projects in the pipeline this year and I believe that unifying under one brand, Peoplesafe, will enable us to deliver a superior service to our customers for the long-term.

Using our “People, Environment Task” methodology, our business provides critical services to people who are potentially at risk and we take the responsibility very seriously.

These services, coupled with the coronavirus crisis, have become more critical to safeguard employees from risk, providing them with better outcomes in the case of an emergency, as well as – where possible – helping them to avoid emergencies completely.”

He adds:

“The staff across all three brands already share a common outlook and ethos, so formalising a consistent name for all three businesses is a natural step. Our mission is to be ‘trusted by employers to protect their people and keep them safe’.  Across the board, our people are passionate about people safety and in delivering the best possible response to any SOS alarm that’s raised and I’m proud to be a part of that.

Using technology as a springboard, we have a goal to constantly evolve and develop our service, to ensure we continue to remain at the forefront of the industry, delivering insight and risk mitigation, supporting those at risk in the best possible way.

With the support of our investors at ECI, we will continue to invest in key areas and deliver an outstanding service at every single customer touch point.”
