Retail Worker Followed
A retail employee was followed and threatened by a man in the staff area. She activated a Peoplesafe alarm and requested police assistance. The controller contacted police and the employee’s manager, providing reassurance. The police arrived within 10 minutes and resolved the situation.
NHS Nurse Stabbed
An NHS mental health nurse was stabbed in a GP surgery. He activated his Peoplesafe device, and the controller immediately contacted an ambulance and police as well as his line manager. The controller stayed on the line with the nurse, providing reassurance and updates. . Within 4 minutes both the police and ambulance were on scene.
Repair Worker Threatened
A repair worker was threatened by two men while working on a building. They activated an SOS alarm, and the controller contacted police, providing location and description of the aggressors. The LED screen on the back displays battery life GPS signal, 4G network, mobile signal strength, current time, GPRS connection and IMEI number.
4G connectivity enables alarm functions to be performed quicker and with minimal delay when using a 4G network. If, for whatever reason, 4G is unavailable, the 2G/3G network is still supported as a backup.
