Peoplesafe Partners with Geotab to Enhance Fleet Safety
Peoplesafe is excited to announce a new integration with Geotab, a global leader in connected transportation solutions. This partnership offers fleet and logistics companies a seamless way to integrate Peoplesafe’s cutting-edge employee safety technology into their existing Geotab systems.
It is unique on the European Geotab Marketplace, as the only technology focused on protecting people, not just vehicle or asset protection.
How it Works
The integration allows Geotab users to add Peoplesafe as an ‘add-in’ through the Geotab Marketplace. Once added, users can log in to the Peoplesafe Nexus platform via an effortless single sign-on (SSO) process, using Geotab as the identity provider.
Users logged into Geotab can automatically access the Peoplesafe Nexus platform without needing to re-enter login details. This streamlined process simplifies the management of Peoplesafe apps and devices, making it easier for fleet managers to oversee both vehicle and employee safety efficiently.
Seamless Safety Management
Leading fleet and logistics teams already trust Peoplesafe to protect their staff, including GXO and Gregory Distribution, as well as large fleets run by Dennis Eagle and Ringway Jacobs. With this integration, new and existing Geotab users can add Peoplesafe to their MyGeotab account, streamlining the management of fleet and employee safety.
24/7 Employee Protection
Peoplesafe provides real-time protection for employees wherever they are and whenever they need it through a combination of cutting-edge technology and a dedicated 24/7 Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). If a driver requires assistance, they can simply push an SOS button on their device or app and a 2-way audio channel is immediately opened with our ARC. Here, trained controllers will triage the call, directly contacting police control rooms to access help faster than calling 999 in an emergency.
Enhanced Safety with SureCam
This new Geotab integration further strengthens our existing partnership with SureCam, which offers an all-encompassing solution for fleet management, incorporating vehicle tracking, video telematics and employee safety.
By adding an extra layer of protection and evidence-gathering capabilities, fleet managers gain access to critical video footage and real-time location data, as well as the Peoplesafe ARC and award-winning Nexus platform. This offers a robust safety solution, ensuring both vehicles and employees are thoroughly protected.
