Peoplesafe Achieves ISO 14001:2015 Certification

Posted: 10 Aug, 2022.

Peoplesafe is pleased to announce that we have achieved ISO 14001:2015 certification.

ISO 14001 is an internationally recognised standard that outlines the requirements for an environmental management system (EMS), which supports organisations in reducing their environmental impact.

Revised in 2015, ISO 14001 brings an increased focus on sustainable development and helping businesses to effectively manage the environmental challenges of the future. It is now the most widely recognised EMS in the world and provides businesses with a framework for implementing sustainable practices. This includes covering issues such as the establishment, implementation, maintenance and improvement of an EMS.

Through the process of certification, we have demonstrated the effectiveness of the processes we currently have in place and our commitment to becoming more sustainable in future years.

What does this mean for our customers?

In addition to certification to ISO 14001, Peoplesafe is WEEE registered and has achieved EcoVadis Sustainability Bronze. This means that our customers can be assured that our products and technological use do not negatively impact the environment. We have processes in place to ensure that the product journey has as minimal impact on the environment as possible, from production to end of life.
