Our ‘Step Up. Stay Safe.’ campaign, working with Crimestoppers, calls on employers to protect their people wherever they are and wherever they need it. This campaign is dedicated to raising the bar on personal safety in, and outside of, the workplace, striving to make the world feel a safer place for everyone.
Step Up. Stay Safe. seeks to:
- Raise awareness of personal safety tips
- Improve employee skills for being able to prepare for, and respond to, personal safety risks
- Reduce the level of personal safety concerns experienced by employees on a weekly basis
- Encourage open conversations about safety and remind employees to follow safety policies and procedures
- Increase awareness of personal safety technology
- Support and endorse ‘Everyone has the right to go home safe after a day’s work’

Our Pledge
Our campaign aims to promote personal safety, encourage employers to take action on personal safety concerns and support businesses to help keep employees safe inside and outside working hours.
1. Provide personal safety training – Give employees the skills to prepare for, and respond to, personal safety risks
2. Provide personal safety technology – Protect all high risk and vulnerable staff enabling them to get help during an emergency
3. Offer personal safety technology to all staff – Give all staff the opportunity to access a professional emergency response service operating 24/7
4. Embed a personal safety culture – Encourage open conversations about safety and remind employees to follow safety policies and procedures
5. Raise awareness of personal safety tips – Actively promote and endorse Step Up Stay Safe messages and resources
