Peoplesafe Lone Worker App Awarded First Place at Tomorrow’s Health & Safety Awards 2025
Peoplesafe has been awarded First Place at the 2025 Tomorrow’s Health & Safety Awards, winning the top spot for our pioneering Lone Worker Application.
As the largest provider of personal safety technology for over 20 years, Peoplesafe continues to lead the field, this most recent award further cementing the organisation’s position as the global go-to employee safety technology provider.
It’s the second year in a row that Peoplesafe has received the award, following a 2024 win for its groundbreaking Nexus platform.
This win reflects our commitment to innovation and delivering industry-leading solutions. New features developed throughout the last year have established the Pro App as the best lone worker app in the industry, with even more features and integrations planned.
New standout Peoplesafe lone worker app features
Travelsafe enables users to set a destination and method of travel, which creates a timed alarm for their estimated arrival. Welfare checks are made throughout any journey and if a ‘no’ response is received, or the user continuously fails to respond, an SOS alarm is immediately raised.
Roamsafe provides eSIM technology that automatically switches to the strongest available network when the phone’s primary SIM loses connectivity. Providing instant access to the UK’s four major networks, it offers employees peace of mind that they are always fully protected, with the ability to access the Peoplesafe control centre whenever they need it.
Crash detection integration and a close working relationship with Apple means that iPhone 14 and later are able to detect if a user has been involved in a serious traffic incident. The phone then automatically alerts both the emergency services and Peoplesafe control centre simultaneously.
API integrations connect the app and Nexus management platform with HR software to automatically manage people updates. Workforce management integration also enables key safety processes (e.g. check-in/out) to be automated so that users are only required to interact with their workforce management app.
