Replacement of single network SIM card

Please follow the steps below for the removal of the SIM card within the unit.

With the delivery of the SIM cards, you will receive a list of device serial numbers which require the SIM cards to be replaced.

There is no specific SIM card assigned to a unit, so any can be used.

If the model reference number at the back of the unit is SG 621, you do not need to replace the SIM card.

1. Power OFF the device by using the side ON/OFF button.

2. Use the SIM tool to pull out the SIM tray from the unit (which can be found on the right-hand side) as shown below:

3. Remove the old SIM card from the SIM tray.
4. Detach the new SIM card from the card tray received in the post.
5. Place the new SIM card in the SIM tray. Ensure the SIM card contacts are facing upwards when inserting the new card as shown in the image below.

6. Once the new SIM card has been inserted, please turn the unit ON. Wait up to 2 minutes before proceeding to the next step. During the 2 minutes, the device will automatically update to our platform with the new SIM card settings.
If you get a solid orange light, please repeat steps 2 to 4 to ensure the new SIM card has been fitted to the SIM tray correctly.

7. Complete a call to the test line via ‘call button 2’ by pressing and holding. Once the call has successfully completed, this is confirmation the new SIM card is active.

8. The old SIM card can now be cut in half and disposed of.
