Lone Working Policy Template
Working alone carries greater risks for those employees than if they were working with another colleague or in a team.
Although the work they are completing is not necessarily more dangerous, the fact that they are by themselves makes it more difficult to call for help in an emergency and can leave them more vulnerable to abusive behaviour.
All organisations where lone working exists are advised to have a Lone Working Policy to guide employees on the processes and procedures they are expected to follow while working alone.
