Secure Solutions Group

Secure Solutions Group is an award-winning security provider that offers first aid training, mental health transportation, event security, and medical logistics nationwide through its close partnership with the NHS.

Dynamic Risks

Providing its services to both private and public sectors, the company hold high levels of responsibility and is in charge of dealing with critical, challenging scenarios. To achieve a fast-paced response, Secure Solutions Group employ a dynamic team of front-line specialists operating on a 24/7 call-out basis

The nature of this work exposes employees to unpredictable situations, putting them at risk of volatile interactions with members of the public, traffic accidents and adverse weather conditions. .

Ambulance responders in the medical logistics and transportation team, for example, often work alone collecting and delivering organs.

Public Facing Employees

The group also employs several public-facing security officers who work within festival and nightclub environments. Due to the nature of their roles, they are often exposed to individuals under the influence of alcohol and commonly find themselves dealing with aggressive and violent behaviour.

In these situations, calling for help can be challenging, especially without alerting the aggressor and making a threatening situation worse.

Deploying Peoplesafe

In response to these challenges, Secure Solutions Group equipped their lone workers with Peoplesafe technology.  The MySOS personal safety alarm is compact and inconspicuous, looking similar to a car key fob. It’s small enough that employees can easily carry it in their pockets, clip it onto a belt, or wear it on a lanyard, always ensuring accessibility.

Whilst the group carries out its services to help others, staff can feel reassured that their own wellbeing is in safe hands should they require assistance at any time or place.

Assistance at the Press of a Button

At the press of a button, users can call for help via Peoplesafe’s 24/7/365 Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). Professionally trained Alarm Controllers are always on hand to communicate with the user through the device’s two-way audio functionality.

The device is also built with GPS technology, allowing the Alarm Controller to accurately pinpoint the employee’s exact location on a map. After following bespoke escalation procedures specified by the company on Peoplesafe’s award-winning Nexus platform, the Alarm Controller will either inform designated staff or escalate to the emergency services, such as the police.

“Numerous alarms have had to be raised. Peoplesafe’s solution is pivotal to our employee’s safety. I’d recommend the service as a whole. I referred Peoplesafe to one of the hospitals we work with and our medical teams working there feel safe knowing they have the service at hand”.
