There are nine award categories to choose from, including the Inspiring Individual Award, the Young Person’s Safety Award and the Safer Workplace Award. See the full list of awards here. The awards are a fantastic way to highlight good practice across all sectors and to recognise the hard work of various individuals and agencies that promote and ensure personal safety.
“We have always been inspired by the breadth and depth of the different projects nominated for awards, all of which are making communities and workplaces safer places.”
Managing Director, Ian Johannessen values the recognition the awards bring; “The Personal Safety Awards are really important and have a vital role to play. We are seeking to recognise those people for whom personal safety is a passion beyond words and job function.
In 2016 it was brilliant to see the breadth of people, places and situations where personal safety activities are making a real difference to the attitudes and lives of so many. I encourage anyone who has a sense of commitment to personal safety to get involved.”
The deadline for nominations is 5pm on February 9th. The awards will be presented in London on March 23rd 2017. You can find nomination forms alongside more details here.
